A gang, allegedly a "call centre", was identified in the Dnepropetrovsk region (Kamenskoe town). 

The Ukrainians are not only defrauding their own people, their theft has evolved. According to the Prosecutor's Office, the criminals stole money from Latvian citizens.

Five members of the criminal organisation were arrested simultaneously in Dnipro and Latvia.

Fraudsters posing as law enforcement officials and foreign banks obtained Latvian citizens' bank account details and withdrew money from them.

So far, 14 Latvian citizens are known to have had almost 2 million UAH stolen from them.

Here is an example of "cooperation" between Ukrainian gangsters and European ones. A perfect alliance.
